Frequently asked questions
Credits are consumed when Cara generates or refines your applications. A typical generation uses 150-400 credits. Demo previews use around 2,500 credits, and full production builds around 8,000. Free tier credits reset monthly. You can also purchase one-time credit packs starting at $10 for 5,000 credits.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new features. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle.
A project is any application, website, or workspace you create in Cara. The Starter plan allows up to 3 projects. Pro and Team plans include unlimited projects.
The Team plan includes 3 seats at $99/mo. Additional seats can be added at volume pricing: $39/seat for 4-10 users, $29/seat for 11-25 users. Each team member gets 20,000 credits per month.
Yes. A Business Associate Agreement is included with all paid plans at no extra cost. We take HIPAA compliance seriously and provide BAA execution as part of onboarding.
Cara integrates with Athena Health, Canvas Medical, Elation Health, eClinicalWorks, Healthie, and generic FHIR R4 servers. We also support Stedi for insurance eligibility and claims, DoseSpot for e-prescribing, and Junction for lab orders.
